Monster : Your calling is calling The monthly M word, November 2009
Heaven sent
November 30th is Saint Andrew's Day – and as well as being patron saint of Scotland he's also the patron Saint of Greece and Russia too, so he got about a bit (perhaps he liked multi-tasking?). Now, if you're not finding any good jobs, why not start asking for them with a speculative application? It shows initiative, enthusiasm – and all those other things employers love. Next up: the cold weather's kicking in so we advise on what to wear to work without looking like Sir Ranulph Fiennes crossing the North Pole by Husky. Lastly, check out our special audio download on covering letters – and cover yourself in glory.
