  Brumms the word

This week sees The National Graduate Recruitment Exhibition at the NEC, Birmingham (30 Oct-1 Nov), so if like Alistair Darling you've got a bit of a debt problem and want to land your first job since 'uni', this is a must for your diary. For our first exhibit this week we talk about how planning your interview in advance – even down to the length of your skirt (mainly for girls that one) – can make all the difference to success or failure. We also have some highly readable tips on fearless networking. For example, did you know you're only six phone calls away from the President of America? (Now that is scary).
